ok i got something to blog about. haha. my work.

yesterday i worked the night shift. that's a first. and i thk of many to come. ARRHH! they bully the younger staff! make them work night shift! cos no one wana do night shift! i browsed through next week's work schedule and im down for 2 night shifts! darn. and this other part timer, she's a yr younger. she's down for 3 night shifts next week too. *beep*

Closing time is 1130 on weekdays. NOT 11. haiyo.. the crowd was ~~~~~. they come in intervals. like after 1 movie, a whole crowd comes down the escalator. then they have a look at the ice cream that kinda thing. they serving part wasnt that tiring. since the ice cream was relatively soft last night and there weren't too many customer. BTW, i love scooping mango. the textures so JUST RIGHT. sticky in the right way.

then at 1120? guess who came? yea. u guessed it! a celebrity. well. not very dua pai la. just fiona xie. haha. and her friend. i thk they just finished watching a movie. she had a really sore eye and her beehive hair(which i thought was nice) made her receeding hairline quite obvious. poor girl. must be due to all the pulling of her hair and hair products she uses. and she was really undecisive abt her ice cream flvr. look look. see see. laugh laugh. yawns. then fine. she asked me to introduce something. she said she liked something fruity. so i said mango. and guess what she asked to sample. pistachio? errr? ok? so yea. she strode away with a pistachio cone.

Closing=tiring. must keep the ice cream( got frost bites). scrape the spatulas. wash the floor etc etc ETC. by the time we finished, it was 1230am. there were 3 of us in the shop btw. 3 girls. oh yea. and we are actually paid till the time they close. ok. that good to hear. and i received my 2 sessions(15 hrs in total) pay yest too. since it was the end of the mth alr. got S$67.50. hmph. nothing to brag abt.by the time i reached home. it was 1am. slept at 2am. sunday's shift would be a loonnnggg one. mopping the shop's floors at 2am monday morning. :S . i found out alr. they close at 1am on sundays. not 11pm. crap.

woke up at 9 this morning to go tanning with ali. so SLEEPY! i thk im really dark now man. well not REALLY. but yea. dark. ok. theres choir practice tgt. gona catch up with my beauty sleep now and have my voice kept in good condition to sing for the LORD tonight.

It's not that i dont wana blog. But i simply cant think of anything interesting to blog about. I'm not studying now. so there's no work stress to vent out. No school happenings to talk about. And i dont work everyday. So no work happenings everyday too. Ah nvm, tell you what. I'll just blog abt random things. haha. that might be interesting too.

Oh yea, i know. i just joined my chuch choir. my first practice would be on thursday. im a bit freaked out cos i dont know anyone there. And like everyone's like 26< . the oldest is maybe like 60+ 70?! haha. so u can imagine the scenario. But who cares, i must keep tellimg myself its FOR GOD. i'm singing FOR HIM! So i dont have to be scared of anything. Halleujah! :)

Ok. So my work schedule for this week's finalised. im working on 2 night shifts! arghs. Actually i dont wana work night shift. Cos u know how u have to clean and pack up UNPAID! sigh. and u have to go back so late. weekdays still ok, they close at 11 so maybe by the time i reach home, it'll be midnight. but on weekends, they close at 130AM! oh gosh. i mean, seriously, who hangs out at 1am at orchard road when the next day's a working day. hey thinking about it, maybe i got it wrong. maybe they close at 130am only on fridays and sats. bwahahhahaha. maybe i can escape from the 130am closing time on sunday afterall..

Work has been tiring. both physically and mentally.

my wrist aches cos i keep using the wrong technique to scoop the ice cream. but its nan mian wat. but now im getting the hang of using my arm strength. but my poor arms. so now its my poor arms and wrist. worked from 12-9 yesterday. oh man. no staff has ever worked so long la! i hope i get a pay increase.haha. but its quite fun la. i mean, u know like how people ask u to recommend flavours, stuff like that. its quite fun. u see them liking the flavours, u urself have a sense of satisfaction kinda thing. yea.. and once in a while, u get to see some goodlooking ppl. so yea.

and one more thing is.. orchard road has too many couples. haha. im not jealous.. im just..? sore? hahahah. no la. its just a comment. last night during shift. there was this young couple who were hugging infront of the icecream counter. like hallo! can u fstr get what u want and zao. dun hang ard when there's ppl waiting to place their order. so i efficiently said "Hi can i help anyone" very loudly. haha. so as to break them up. na na ni poo poo!

yays! today was a fun day.. .. we surprised yj at her HOUSE! how sweet can we get man.. cos she's in the midst of exams.. so yea.. poor thing. cant come out n celebrate her bdae. so we 3 seniles decided to do something so gula melaka as to make a trip down to her house to surprise her! yays! haha.. so let the pictures do the talking man. im proud to say.. i took alll the pictures..haha.. well almost all. i was like the mummy or something. and they kept saying " CAN YOU STOP TAKING PICTURES!" eh please lor! i bet inside you guys are like "mo mo shuang". wahhahaha. its fun to take pictures of the whole procedure mah.. a nice memory. :)

I would just like to apologize for my HORRIBLE english. the grammer is so LAN! i was reading my previous posts and oh goodness me. i dont know what was i thinking. i guess cause i wanted to say something and then i lost my concentration and ladida.. yea.. sorry about that.

oooowww! my right wrist aches man!! arghs. gelato's so not easy to scoop out. trust me. the next time u make a trip to a gelato shop. DO NOT be impatient with the ice cream girls, because im telling u, its tedious to scrape out the gelato. and u dunno how much energy they need to put in and how badly they have to twist and turn their wrist just to scoop out ur gelato.

haha. so yea. u've probably guess by now. First day of work today. well.. it was considered training, so i wasnt paid. but oh wells. i guess now im equipped with the skills. it was quite fun..haha. oh man. my scoops were like some big some small. no comments.haha. some of the customers were like looking at the ice cream in a "huh! why so small" expression. so pai seh. haiya.. not my fault. the gelato sunk to the bottom by itself ok! not my fault. haha. well actually it was..oh wells. im a trainee man!

then yea. the great thing is i get have everything in the shop. haha. gelato, milkshakes, etc etc. shiok man! got to sampled most of the flavours.. i recommend the chocolate flvrs and mango. . oh..hazelnut's quite gd too. hazelnut shake's solid!haha. i had for myself a mango shake too.yummyy.hahhaha.

but my wrrist hurtTS!ache! and any palms have like signs of blisters. sigh.. hard work i must say. the people there are mostly young people and yea.. they're all working in shifts. maybe just the manager's there everyday. yea.. ok..i can announce which parlour im working at alr. haha..since we're on shifts. so who cares. its gelatissimo.heh..yeaa..

the crowd was mainly ang mohs and japs. hahah. its qt funny communicating with them..it can be from "do u think u could make a payment first?" to "pay money!" hahahha! oh well, they probably not offended by that la. hahah. anyway.. i dont wanna type alr.. my right hand hurts...

i'm BORED. well, the past few days have been alright. been going out stuff like that. met meg on wed. met ali on thurs. then there's left today. and im bored. i resorted to continuing the korean drama series that jaime lent me. but.. its really draggy.im at disc 16 now. but like.. too much of it is a bit D#@G@*RE@*TR#. so yea. its better to watch the episodes in intervals. ha.

i got a call from the ice cream parlour. quite happy. training's on monday. 12-6pm. hmm. we'll see we'll see. should be quite fun? i nvr been in retail before and this would be an experience. dealing with the cashier, dealing with customers, and of course, the most impt, dealing with ice cream. haha. i thk it's gona be tiring thought. i always thot gelato was quite soft. but i guess its sticky. so maybe its not that easy to scoop out aftall. super MILENE is about to be born! im telling ya. my biceps would be bulging.

and also, apparently, pay would be considered on an individual basis. which mean, if my performance is good. i'll get a pay increase. wow! that's something to look fwrd to man. cos it means more money, and also means i'm performing well. oh wells. we'll see. i shouldnt think so far. one step at a time.

oh yea. have i mentioned that i quite like "the face shop". but i think a lot of it is due to the packaging and the marketting. oh man! shame on me. fancy a media student falling into the hands of marketting and advertising. However, ive been using their tomato maskpack. this is my third time using the mask.. and yea.. hmm.. actually. i dont see much difference. haha. so maybe thats nothing to brag about. i guess i just like the fact that they provide so many different types of mask to choose from, its just... hmm..nice? like there's rice, green tea, tomato, cucumber etc etc.. and they have a wide range of other products to choose from.. face, body, make up etc etc.AND, all their stuff are quite reasonably priced. so yea, its attractive dont u think. so far, i've bought a maskpack, brow pencil and a nail polish. haha. and jaime uses their baby moisturiser and she loves it... so u see.... u seee it? i dont really know what im talking about. oh well, i just like it. i guess that's what im trying to put forward. the brow pencil's pretty alright. i like the range of brow colours they offer. and the mask, its ok. but its hard to say if its good or not until i use it for some time. so yea yea yea. whatever. this paragraph's going no where. LAME! so LAMB!

oh but there's something i wana point out. u know there's this other korean brand called Missha right. their embassador's won bin. fine. the face shop's embassador's the guy from stairway to heaven. now thats really FIERCE competition dont u think. the 2 guys are like the "heart throbs" of korea. (to me they're abt the same pattern). and like they're embassadors of such similar brands. haha. i thk its kinda ironic. u get my point? like nelly with pepsi and say 50cents with cocacola?

You know how sometimes people have weird ambitions. just like how some people like to try out certain jobs just for fun..
it might not be stable, it might not be long term, it might not even provide good pay. but its just for the fun of it.
yeap.. that's the situation im in now. i ALWAYS wanted to work in an ice cream shop(and my mum is supportive of it. she says its a SKILL you will learn). hopefully one day even set up my own ice cream stall.
i dont know whats the wonder of it. but i'm just like the feeling of selling ice cream! scooping it for people, handing it over then
seeing their expressions when they take their first bite or lick into the ice cream. =D

but im just afraid the store manager might think im not up to it! like i've no arm energy to scoop the gelato and stand on my feet the whole day?

Alrightie. now for an update. Well, havent been doing much these few days. ever since thursday, what have i been doing? well Friday i went out with jaime. Spent money on like miscellaneous stuff. arghs. im poor. i needa get a job. then at night was mother's lion club's dinner. mother really gave me shock! she can really dance im telling YOU! i'm not boasting. im really not. she can twist and turn and make loops with the long pink cloth. wa sai! now i believe she used to dance for singapore.. haha..

oh yea. i bought ah mei's album. finally. it's so... SAD? but the songs are nice. nice but sad.
Been watching a lot of TV too. there are quite nice taiwan shows on TV. haha. i really love taiwan variety shows la. dun know how i managed to survive w/o it last year.

anyway, im planning to get my OP over and done with soon. so that i'll be all well and healthy to fly in july. and i wouldnt get into trouble with the UHUH aust immigration ppl anymore. then yea. after that im planning to get a job. intern at some media related company. i really wana do artiste management. but i'll have to see about it. I dont think its that easy to get the job anyway.

in the meantime. before my op, i wana fulfil my dream of selling ice cream! haha.. maybe somewhere around orchard. haha. who knows frens. the next time u see me might be at an ice cream shop scooping ice cream! :)

Ok.. results are out. I'm NOT flying over anymore. i dont know what to say. but yea. the medical officers state they want additional information on my medical condition. which i think is really un necessary cos it really aint serious. but whatever it is, i wont be able to make it for this semester. A lot of thoughts are running through my mind at this point of time. i guess im just in a confused state. Yea i know, both sides have its pros and cons. But..... i dont know...
