I'm bored...
Sister has left for brisbane already..
So now i'm stuck home, home alone for 3 entire nights before convention on friday.
The house is quiet without sister's random, off-tune singing.
=S.
I have to admit, I kinda miss her already.

ANYWAY, I have a lot a lot of laundry to do!! aiyoyo.
Doing laundry can be soo tiring and exhausting. Least say if more than half your laundry requires handwash treatment.

Well, 2 weeks ago, on sister's bdae, I made her breakfast! Yes! ME! MUA! Don't look down on me ok. It was quite successful LORRZZZZZ! haha. eew. I call it "Sister love breakfast". LOL. yea, right.


Initially....


On the menu, we have pancakes, pan fried mushrooms, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and roasted tomatoes.

Slowly.. the plate fills up..

Ta Da!

Conclusion:

1) What supposed to be scrambled eggs turned out into omelette.
2) The roasted tomatoes wasn't roasted long enough, hence, it was a little raw.
3) My pancakes looked like roti prata.

But whatever it is, it's the LLUURRRVVEEEE that counts!

I think I'm facing one of my biggest challenges ever -- Driving.
This is already my 10-11th lesson, only then do I realise I have so much I need to catch up on!
Oh crap. And my test is in 3 weeks time!
Ahhhh.. DRIVING! I MUST CONQUER YOU!!
I must tell myself, I can drive as well as Daddy! It's in the genes!!
Lol.. right..

So i happily made my way down to vic roads and reached there at 11.06am for my 11am hazard perception test.
I asked for directions, and then joined the queue on the ground level.
When it got to my turn, the counter couldnt find my name on her name list.
So, she checked her computer system.
To my horror, the test is on 24th, FRIDAY! NOT 22th wednesday!

Some guys are just such bitches.
They are sensitive when they have no reason to be, and they are insensitive when they should be.
Singaporean men, I'm starting to lose hope in you.

Ok.. I'm gona PPUUUSSSHHH this show like crazy! Everyone, you wana be hip?
You wana be ahead of the crowd? You wana be one of the first people who watch this
amazing serial before it becomes widely popularised? Then you MUST MUST MUST
NOT miss "The Hospital"-- Bai Se Ju Ta!

Where should I start? Oh man.. I think this is such a great serial, everyone must and should watch it.. It touches on day to day issues, everyday working class politics, love, human values etc etc. Many thumbs up i'm telling ya.

And! There's an amazing star-struck cast. Ok.. boo Jerry Yan. Whatever. haha. But yea, he's the lead actor and besides he great looks, his acting has thoroughly improved! I'm so not kidding. I thought he played his role really well. A SNAG- that's what he is i reckon. Oh, and Fei Xiang was the guest star! hahah, good to lure all the aunties. But really, he massively puts me off! But well, I guess he suited the role really. LOL. Ah! And SAYA! She's soo good! Love her! Then there are all these other actors/actresses who I don't quite know their names, but acted really really well. So you seeeee! 1 more plus point!

Then there's the show quality itself. The filming techniques! The way they portray the feelings of the character, not only by the way the actor acts, but also with the music, the camera movements, the flashbacks, the voice overs, the narratives, etc etc. We're talking about solid good stuff here baby! As in, I don't know how to explain it, but the mise-en-scene was pretty well done for a taiwan television serial really! One of the best I've seen!

All in all, I really think this is one of the best serials taiwan has produced. I'm pushing it all the way! Although you might think it's a little too draggy, with 39 episodes lined up. But it's good if you minimize the clicking of the forward button, because you have to watch the way they interact, their little body movements, the way the song goes, the way the camera moves to really feel what the characters are feeling and to really get into the whole mood of the story.

Ok, what have I left out. It's just such a great serial that while watching it, I was so interested in medicine, hospitals, doctors, nurses then I even considered if I was nurse potential. After some time of pondering, it was like, errr... "wake up, milene!". But nonetheless, i still haunted down my nurse and medicine friends on what they do in their course and how's the hospital situation is like etc etc. =D

So what are you waiting forrr!! Go get the dvd now! A cheaper (free) alternative is to watch it on youtube! Here's the link:

Just now while googling for some serial pictures to attach to this post, I discovered this was actually a story adapted from a book! Cooooolllll... but whatever it is, watch the serial, THEN, read the book! Heh.

On a side note, the most supposedly common scenario for girls happened on me today.
wahahahhaha. It's quite flattering to think of it actually.
Some guy tried getting to know me while I was waiting at the tram stop today at 11.55pm 18th nov 2006. LOL.
He did it real old school style. hahah.
This guy, hmm, how should I describe him, not very tall, not too bad looking, fair skin, wore a blazerish coat and a cap.
So he came up to me and said..
"Excuse me.. ok. i know this is really weird.. like yea.. weird... but.."
(at this point of time, I thought he wanted to ask for money or something (which is smth very common over here, but they're usually locals), ok like.. I dont know, borrow or something or whatever.. was feeling a little freaked out then)
"but I think you're really cute.." ( ahahha. so flattered.. lol)
"And i would like to get to know you.." (errrrrrrr........ okkkk..)
(Then i thought to myself, now, what should I do. Should i listen to what he has got to say? Give him a chance? Or immediately shun him off. Then i thought, ahaha, but this never happened to me before.. and he is, afterall, not too bad looking.. HMMMMM)
So I just said.. "errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
"I'm Chris"
(Then i thought.. ahh what the heck. I'm in a rush, needa go back home to prepare for jie's birthday surprise.. Byebye chris!)
I said, " I'm sorry, but i'm not interested.."
"I'm sorry.. what did you say"
"I'm sorry but i'm not interested"
"Whaa~~~you're not into...?" (ahahha. myb he thinks im going to continue carrying out a convo with him so he was gleaming away)

heh. So that was what happened. Seriously, if he had tried a bit harder.. haha, i might give him a chance.. but then again, maybe not. hahaha. who know what my immediate reflexes will do..
